Dating Violence Program
The dating violence program is geared towards teenagers, and presented in all three counties at the high school level. This is a particularily important age to present information about dating violence, because statistically young women between the ages of 16-24 are the most vulnerable to intimate partner violence.
Some of the topics covered include:
- what dating violence is
- methods and ways abusers use to control their victims
- identifying traits that are desirable in a dating partner
- indications of abusive behavior
